Meet Your NWA Doula
Angelee Sterling | CD(DONA)
Northwest Arkansas Doula & Childbirth Educator
I’m an experienced NWA doula, and mom of 3 who enjoys supporting families on their birth journey. I’m also a DONA certified doula.
As your doula, I help you feel prepared for the challenges of labor and postpartum. In a world of rushed visits and efficiency, I offer you time and space to ask questions and express your concerns and desires for labor.
I believe the best way for you to give birth is the way that makes you feel most comfortable. I support you and your decisions all the way. Every birth can and should be empowering, and it is my goal as your doula to help you have your best possible birth experience.
Along with the experience I’ve acquired as a doula, I personally have had three births at home. I understand how labor feels, and I bring this perspective to those who are contemplating a home birth or would like an unmedicated labor.
During labor, I think of myself as a calm presence that can help you with whatever you need in the moment. Whether that is a hand to hold, a hot compress, understanding medical staff, or a new position to make labor progress, you and your partner will feel guided, advocated for, and supported during your entire labor.

My Commitment To You
The more families a doula supports each month, the higher the chance she won’t be there when you need her most. I wouldn’t want you to face the disappointment of laboring with someone else because I couldn’t be there.
That’s why I intentionally limit myself to no more than 3 births per month. This gives me the breathing room to rest, recharge, and stay fully present for every family I serve. So far, I’ve never had to call in a backup doula—and I work hard to keep it that way. But in case of an illness or overlap, I have a network of doulas I trust that can step in.
My commitment is simple: to protect the relationship we build together, so when your labor comes, it’s me—your chosen doula—right there by your side.
My care begins the moment you hire me and continues through the rest of your pregnancy, during labor, and into the postpartum period. I’m here to listen closely, make sure your voice is heard, and help you feel truly supported and confident every step of the way.
I would love to meet with you (either virtually or in person) to discuss your birth vision, how I can support you, and make sure we are the right fit for your birth journey.
Thank you for considering my doula services!
