NWA Breastfeeding Class

FREE NWA BREASTFEEDING CLASS: BREASTFEEDING BEGINNINGS

Many moms intend to breastfeed their babies, but up to 92% of moms have trouble in the first few days and up to 40% quit in the first 30 days. Breastfeeding can be challenging, but with realistic expectations, accurate information, support and a plan on what to do if you need extra help, you can successfully breastfeed your baby!

I struggled over and over again with breastfeeding my 3 children. I always thought breastfeeding just would come naturally, but unfortunately I didn’t realize I needed to prepare with breastfeeding education and was given advice that wasn’t helpful, actually made breastfeeding harder, and ultimately led to me NOT reaching my breastfeeding goals. I designed this class to give you the accurate, up to date information I wish I would have had!

I feel so strongly about sharing this information with every mom who desires to breastfeed that I offer this NWA breastfeeding class absolutely FREE.

Frequently asked questions…

This class is approximately 3 hours, and there will be a short break in the middle.

No and I don’t pretend to be 🙂 I am a trained birth and postpartum doula who has also been trained in supporting breastfeeding moms by IBCLCs. I created this class from what I learned during my training, along with the extensive research I have done using reputable and up to date sources. The information provided in this class is meant to give you a well-informed start to breastfeeding with accurate, up-to-date information. It includes information I wish I had known when I was struggling breastfeeding my 3 children. If you have a more complex issue or need information later on in your breastfeeding journey, I absolutely recommend working with an IBCLC.

  • First-time pregnant moms who plan on or are considering breastfeeding their babies
  • Pregnant moms who are simply curious to learn more about breastfeeding
  • Pregnant moms who have struggled with breastfeeding in the past or weren’t able to reach their breastfeeding goals
  • New moms who find themselves struggling with breastfeeding in the early weeks
  • Anyone who will be supporting a breastfeeding mom such as a partner or grandparent is welcome to join

You technically can take this class from any device that lets you use Zoom , however I do not recommend attending the class from a phone. The best experience will be attending from a laptop or desktop computer, followed by a tablet.

Even though this is a free class, you must sign up to attend.

This class is open to those who are located in Northwest Arkansas, surrounding areas, or anyone who is expecting a new baby and wants to learn more about breastfeeding!  This class is great if you are looking to take a Bentonville Breastfeeding Class, Centerton Breastfeeding Class, Bella Vista Breastfeeding Class, Rogers Breastfeeding Class, Springdale Breastfeeding Class, or Fayetteville, AR Breastfeeding Class.

I was unable to fit all of this helpful breastfeeding/lactation content into my 4-session childbirth class.  Please take this FREE NWA breastfeeding class in addition to my comprehensive childbirth class.
